The main activity consists in the care of the development of children with deficits and behavioral excesses. The methodology is ABA (Applied behavior analysis).
The managing activity implies:

1)  Monthly supervision of the clients assigned to each member of the clinical group (ABA senior tutors and behavior analysts);
2)  Assignment, by mutual agreement with the board of director of the company, of new clients to the clinical group’s behavior analysts;
3)  Drafting and approval of clinical and scientific projects;
4)  Drawing of treatment guidelines that will be applied by the clinical group;
5)  Supervising the work of the clinical group and managing related problematic issues;
6)  Approval of all clinical and scientific communications published by the company;
7) Job interviews and assessments of the candidates for the inclusion in the clinical group, with mutual approval by the board of directors;

8) First assessment of incoming clients.

The consulting activity implies:

1)  Regular supervision of the clients in treatment;
2)  Analysis of data collected by the staff;
3)  Drafting of corrective protocols for problem behaviors and behavioral deficits;
4)  Training of new staff candidates;
5)  Direct consultation to parents of children with disabilities.

I currently work in the field of disability and behavior modification with children and adolescents.
Service clients are mainly children with autism spectrum disorder, but I also deal with school problems and family with typically developing children. The operational methodology is ABA (Applied behavior analysis).

The course, recognized by the BACB®, was played entirely online via the internet website http:// reliaslearning.com, and had a duration of 8 hours, to which must be added the many tests performed after each learning unit. A final exam was performed. The course objective was to refine skills as behavior analyst acquired in order to provide supervision to students pursuing BCBA®, BCaBA®, RBTTM certification.

The Italian Registry of Behavior Analysts in Italy is an advanced training and professionalism guarantee. In RIAC converge persons who meet the following criteria:
Five-year degree or master (psychology, medicine, educational science).
Master of science in Behavior analysis;
1,500 hours of training with 75 supervision hours according to the BACB criteria.
Examination to be admitted: presentation and discussion of a case report in accordance with the IESCUM guidelines. Continued Education in accordance with the BACB-IESCUM criteria.
5)  IESCUM – European Institute for the study of human behavior Master in “Behavior analysis: theoretical and methodological aspects and applications to autistic disorder”
March 2012 – September 2014

The Master aims to train skilled professionals able to plan, manage and monitor interventions based on applied behavioral analysis, with particular reference to autism spectrum disorders and pervasive developmental disabilities.
The internship, which lasts 1,500 hours, involved the execution of consultation and programming activities under the supervision of a BCBA®.
The two-year theoretical course and supervised practical training are designed to meet the BCBA® requirement in order to sit for the examination for certification.
